F-Zero Advance

A handheld F-Zero? Wicked! What kind of Nintendophile wouldn't want to see this one come to North America?

Are you kidding me?

“No! I Don’t Want to See an All New F-Zero, with new vehicles, hidden crafts and four player death matches. Not me!”

Yeah, right.

The day I saw the original F-Zero on the SNES for the first time was the day I knew I needed that system immediately, just so I could play it again. F-Zero-X was the first game I ever imported (though m’man Colin from the 64 Source gave me an imported Bomberman Hero with a converter just previous) and it’s the N64 game that I go back to the most.

When Billy went to Spaceworld 2000, he and Adam from Tendo Box. scoured Japan for a 64DD just to buy the F-Zero expansion with its legendary track editor. They couldn’t find one, anywhere. It’s scandalous, cause I wanted one too and.if they found ‘em, I prolly would have imported one. Going beyond these personal examples, F-Zero inspired games like Wipeout and pretty much every other futuristic racer since it, like WipeOut.

This new F-Zero evidently features a new generation of racers and takes place 20 years after the SNES original. Should make for an interesting twist!

Bring us this new F-Zero Nintendo and please make it online like Mario Kart Advance!
