Like Colette, Zelos is also a Chosen of Mana. Unlike Colette, Zelos revels in his role as the Chosen, and he’s not opposed to using it for personal gain at times. A consummate ladies’ man, Zelos approaches most situations hoping to either meet or impress any pretty girl who might be nearby. He takes every opportunity to hit on his female team members, although they usually ignore or rebuke him. Nevertheless, he seems committed to the journey, and his social status does come in handy every now and then.

Zelos’s abilities are similar, although inferior, to those of Kratos. The two even wear the same kinds of equipment. Zelos has some useful spells, but if left to fight with his own personal style, he will almost always choose to fight on the frontlines. His weapons are very strong and he moves quickly, and combined with the variety of his spells, Zelos can be very useful on the battlefield.
