Genis is an elf, like his sister Raine, who was raised in the human town of Iselia. Genis is the youngest playable character, but he’s also one of the smartest. He’s a whiz in school and maintains his studies even while on the journey. Despite being several years younger, Genis often has to explain things to Lloyd…that is, when he’s not making fun of the elder swordsman.
Genis is a master of attack magic and rarely fights up close. If his maximum technique points (TP) and intelligence are kept high, Genis can be one of the most powerful characters in battle. It is important for the other characters to keep enemies busy, so that Genis is not interrupted while charging up a spell.
