The first US concert to feature videogame music has been pushed back a year to make it bigger and better.
Last August we reported that as part of the E3 festivities, a music concert featuring videogame tunes was announced. As giddy as everyone around the gaming community was to hear about this, it turns out that the concert has been pushed back into 2004.
Here's a small clip from the article at Music4Games.net:
Event Producer Jack Wall recently informed [Music4Games], "The response to the concert was so overwhelmingly positive, we decided to plan a bigger show for next year rather than the one we were originally planning for this year. Several corporate sponsors also have expressed serious interest in 2004 rather than 2003 and that will go a long way to making our larger plan a reality."
Seems like a good reason. For the rest of the explanation as to why the concert was pushed into 2004, read the full article over at Music4Games.
