ECTS was not that big of a show this year, but that doesn't mean it didn't have good games! A panel of European gaming journalists was formed to choose the most outstanding games at the event, and Nintendo 3rd party games came out on top.

Rage's "Denki Blocks" for GBA won both "Overall Best Game" and "Best Handheld Game." Meanwhile, Kemco's "Universal Studios" won the honored title of "Best Console Game."

Keep in mind that many of the big-leaguers (including Nintendo) were nowhere to be found on the floor. Despite this, though, both games have left a good impression on Europe, which bodes well for Nintendo. But this is good news for Nintendo fans, as one of the only GameCube titles stole the show!
