Majesco seems to have to put together the right ingredients for the Cooking Mama franchise.
Since its debut on the DS in September 2006, the Cooking Mama series has sold over four million units across two platforms and five games.
The first Cooking Mama game proved to be a hit for many gamers due to its intuitive touch screen controls, charming presentation, and unique gameplay. Its success spawned a Wii iteration in early 2007, a DS and Wii sequel in 2008, and a recent DS spinoff, Gardening Mama.
All the games in the series are currently available for under $30, including the recent Wii version, Cooking Mama: World Kitchen, that was just dropped to $29.99.
