Letter from the Director

Some rather disappointing news, as well as a plea for your help! Free pizza? Naked chicks? CLICK NOW!

Dear Planet GameCube readers,

As you’ve noticed, we’ve got a Pay Pal ad up on our website asking for donations to help get us to Space World. I’d like to thank the 10 people out there that donated money already. Planet GameCube not only is a lot of hard work to keep going, but it costs us quite a bit of money for server costs, and taking trips to E3, Space World, etc.

2 years ago I never imagined Planet GameCube would be in the position it now is. Our traffic is fantastic, and our readership multiplies every day. I thank you all for your support, but ironically, our popularity could be the death of us.

Since PGC opened, our server costs have increased dramatically. That coupled with Space World and other things has put us in some financial troubles. I joke about selling plasma, and Louie’s body parts…but in all honesty….we’re hurting. We really don’t want to go the subscription route either. We really need your help. Millions of people visit Planet GameCube each month…and with your help, we can stay a float during this internet depression. Every little bit helps. Now, we need your help more than ever.

It makes me sick that it’s come to me having to write a letter to you all explaining our situation. The possibility of closing our doors scares the living shit out of me and our staff too. We’re trying to avoid that at all costs. So, if you could please donate to our cause it would be greatly appreciated. Click on the Pay Pal donation ad on the left side of our page. Help Planet GameCube survive!

Thank you, and God bless….

Billy Berghammer
