It's in English. You're on your own here. Even the Options menu is in English. You'll do fine.

File Select Screen

Same deal here. Pick your slot and it'll prompt you if you're sure you want to load

Pause Menu

Three options, from the top:

* List of Animals

This shows which animals you've transformed into and your past offspring. Entries with a white on deep red text box are your chosen offspring, and are available for at-will transformation. The entry number is in the upper left corner, and the stats on the right read, from the top: Health, Attack, Defense, Dash, Jump, Tackle and Back Up. Please refer to the Screen Translations page for more detail. The lower right number lists your current rank.

* Status

This screen shows your current form, the number of Energy Balls (Genkidama) you have, your color make-up, etc. Please refer to the Screen Translations page for more detail. Pressing the Z button shows your ability graph.

* Rule Book

It's all Japanese, and won't be translated verbatim here. Rest assured that this guide will provide you with all the wisdom the Rule Book does, and then some. Also, the Mixed Animal progression chart is available for your reference.

Advanced Menus

These options become available after you've cleared the Bird reincarnation, but before you've reached 100 rank.

From the Main Menu

When you load your file again after finish your Bird life, the Lap Select Screen is displayed. You can choose to play through the Pig, Bear or Bird reincarnations as many times as neccessary until you reach the 100th rank. This menu is in English, so you'll do fine.

Furthermore, once you've cleared the 100 rank and are given a chance to fight the Animal Leader and his crew, a fourth option is available. This takes you straight the final boss fight as the most powerful form of your available animals.

Finally, when you've completely cleared the game (re: 100%, all 150 transformations gotten and the Animal Leader bested) a new option becomes available...

From the Pause Menu

Also, you can quit and save at any time when replaying through any of the animal lives by selecting the fourth (bottom) choice from the pause screen.
